Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives spanning 3+ continents and 15+ global partners
- Identify and commercialize breakthrough innovations with $100M+ market potential
- Develop patent portfolios protecting next-gen intellectual property assets
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor a team of 12+ researchers and engineers in emerging technologies
- Secure $50M+ in annual R&D funding through strategic stakeholder alignment
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years industry experience
- Proven track record launching at least 3 disruptive technologies with >$1B market impact
- Expertise in AI/ML frameworks, quantum algorithms, and sustainable tech design
- Published research in Nature, Science, or IEEE with >500 citations
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) and international innovation funding
- Fluency in 3+ programming languages (Python, C++, Rust) and quantum SDKs
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable solutions to climate or healthcare challenges
